Context

A leading Quebec architecture and design firm needed to quickly increase its recruitment capacity following several absences within its talent acquisition team, including a maternity leave. Our RPO consultant was embedded directly into the team to maintain continuity across ongoing recruitment activities. What initially began as temporary support quickly evolved into a much more integrated role supporting multiple hiring needs and business units.

Our consultant managed the full recruitment cycle, from intake meetings with hiring managers through sourcing, application review, screening calls, interviews and ultimately candidate offers and negotiations. As the project progressed, he became fully embedded within the team, working directly with HR partners and hiring managers. Recruitment covered a variety of positions, including structural and building engineers, specialized technicians, project management professionals and other architecture and engineering roles. Candidate outreach also leveraged the firm’s strong reputation and position as a well-established Quebec player in the architecture industry.

The RPO project resulted in 10 hires (cost per hire of $2,820). Beyond the hires themselves, the RPO model allowed the client to maintain recruitment capacity despite temporary gaps within its internal team and manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously. Embedding the consultant directly into the organization also provided end-to-end recruitment support without requiring the client to divide the process among multiple external resources.
