Context
A Quebec university was looking to increase its attractiveness among international students following immigration and visa changes that had contributed to a decline in applications from abroad. For its aerospace-related program, the institution wanted to proactively engage qualified students across several international markets. The objective was to introduce them not only to opportunities to study in Quebec, but also to the career possibilities available after graduation.

The sourcing strategy targeted international students, particularly across Europe, North Africa and South America. Outreach highlighted the institution, opportunities to build a career in Quebec after graduation and, most importantly, the strength of Quebec’s aerospace ecosystem, one of the largest in North America. Existing collaborations between the university and companies in the aerospace sector also helped make the academic and career opportunities more tangible for prospective students.
